Morning Announcements

Seniors: Today’s college visit is Colby College.  Tomorrow’s visits are: Penn State Univ. Park, Stonehill College, and Boston University.  All visits are in Main Guidance and you can sign up for them through Naviance.


POWDER PUFF (10/16-10/20)
Do you want to play some football?  The class of 2020 invites any girl in any grade to participate in their yearly powderpuff game!  Grab a flyer from the bulletin board in the lobby and get ready for some fun.  See a class of 2020 advisor or officer for more information.


FCA (10/16-10/19)
The kickoff meeting for Fellowship of Christian Athletes is at 2:15 today in room 533.


BIO CONNECT CLUB (10/16-10/19)
The next Bio Connect Club meeting is today after school in room 505.  We are still accepting new members, so please come by if you are interested.


GIRL’S LACROSSE (10/17-10/23)
There will be an informational meeting for girl’s lacrosse on Monday 10/23 at 6:30 pm in the LHS cafeteria. All interested players and at least one parent are encouraged to attend. Expectations for the upcoming season, winter training opportunities, weight lifting and conditioning will be discussed.


PICTURES (10/17-10/19)
Students: if you ordered school pictures, please pick them up in your house office.  Picture retake day is today during all lunch periods. Make sure to bring your original pictures.  If you have any questions, please see house 4.


FUTURES LAB (10/17-10/20)
So, did you know in the greater Manchester area alone there are currently almost 200 nursing job openings? Want to learn more? Come to the Career Breakfast for students interested in nursing careers on November 1st.  Stop by the Futures Lab to get more information and sign up to attend.  Seating is limited, so get there early.


Come join International Club and experience Israel this afternoon in room 625, hope to see you there!


SCHOOL STORE (10/18-10/19)
The school store will be closed today but  will reopen for business as usual tomorrow.


NHS (10/19-10/20)
Attention all current National Honor Society members - don't miss out on some new opportunities to fulfill your chapter service obligation and retain your status as a "Member in Good Standing".  You can find these chapter service opportunities as well as some important announcements posted in Google Classroom​ for NHS. Check it out, spread the word and sign up for your NHS chapter service now. If you have any questions, see one of your officers or Mrs. Juster.


HEAL THE WORLD (10/18-10/20)
Heal the World club encourages you to bring in non-perishables, toiletries, or infant supplies that you can spare for a group traveling to Puerto Rico to help with Hurricane Relief.  You can drop off any items in the bins posted around the school.  Thanks in advance for your help.


APPEALS (10/19-10/27)
Absence appeals are now being processed.  Deadline is October 27th.  Please visit your house office if you have questions about your attendance.


Student Activities Club members - Please meet in the gym after school on Monday Oct 23rd for our yearbook picture. Please wear your Student Activities t-shirt or a black t-shirt for the picture! 


CLASS OF 2019 (10/19-10/27)
The Class of 2019 will be collecting dues the week of October 30th through November 3.  Dues are $80 and must be paid to attend prom and the senior trip next year.  Turn in your cash or checks to an officer or advisor.
 The Class of 2019 is selling Spooky World tickets at a discounted price of $35.  See a Rep or class officer if you’re interested in buying one.  They will also be raffling off 2 Patriot’s tickets.  Raffle tickets will be sold during all lunches next week.
