10 Honors Summer Reading Assignment 2022
The summer reading for Honors English 10 will be All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Upon your return to school this fall, you will be assessed on your understanding of the book.
To prepare for this assessment, your assignment is to select eight to ten passages from the book. Copy and cite each passage, then include a brief explanation (4-6 sentences) explaining why you believe each passage was important to the text. “Important” can be a loaded term, mostly linked to plot development. It may be helpful for you to use the themes listed below in your justification of a passage. Please have a printed copy with a proper MLA formatted heading (your name, instructor’s name, course name, and date due) ready to submit on the first day of school.
