Q: What do I need to know about senior portraits?
A: Senior portraits should be taken during the summer between your junior and senior years. Portraits are due to the yearbook staff at the start of their senior year. For more information please visit our Students page.
Q: How is the Yearbook Staff picked?
A: Students who want to be Chief Editor must apply and are picked in the spring the school year before. The rest of the yearbook staff apply with the top three positions they would like in the fall and are then assigned. Staff members must be enrolled in the Yearbook course.
Q: What is the shipping cost for yearbooks?
A: If you are not picking up your yearbook at the school, it can be shipped. The yearbooks weigh around 3 lbs. The shipping cost depends on where the yearbook is being shipped. For help finding out the shipping cost, you can contact Ms. Campos.
Q: Are senior wills/messages required?
A: They are not required, but we encourage seniors to submit them. See our page about senior information submissions for more information.
Q: When can I order my yearbook?
A: There are three yearbook sales during the year. The Early Bird Sale runs during the month of September only and offers the lowest cost of the year. The Holiday Sale happens from November to January and is the last chance to add personalization and/or icons on your cover. The Last Chance Sale takes place in January and February, and is your final chance to preorder a yearbook. After that, any extra books available at distribution time are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis. (Note: Extra copies may not be available at the end of the year.)
Q: Can I wait to purchase my yearbook at distribution at the end of the school year?
A: This is not suggested as a book is only reserved for you if you purchase one during the Early Bird, Holiday, or Last Chance yearbook sales held from September through February. This is necessary so that we know the quantity of yearbooks to order from our publisher. There is no guarantee that there will be any extra yearbook copies available at distribution, so order by February to avoid disappointment!
