Dear Lancer Families:

I can’t believe we are nearing the end of our school year.  I want to take this opportunity to thank our parents, community members, and staff for their support throughout the school year!  What we have accomplished at Londonderry High School can be attributed to our students’ efforts.  The recognition and celebration of them in these monthly newsletters has been richly deserved, and our Lancers continue to come together to make a difference in each other’s lives.  This student-body has accomplished a great deal and we are very proud of them!

June is an exciting month for the Lancers. There are plenty of upcoming events in which our school and community can attend beginning with our National Honor Society Convocation and Induction on Friday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm. In athletics, our spring teams compete in their Division I State Tournaments. Please visit www.nhiaa.org for all tournament information and results.

Senior Week kicks off on Sunday, June 4th with the class trip to Boston from 11:00 – 11:00. On Monday, June 5th the Class of ’23 will host a Senior Carnival on the practice fields 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Tuesday, June 6th there will be a Senior Sunrise Breakfast on the track field 5:00 am – 7:00 am followed by the Senior Academic Awards Assembly in the gym at 10:30.  Seniors are then invited for Milk & Cookies at Moose Hill School for the Class of 2023 from 11:40 – 12:15 pm.  On Thursday, June 8th we will host a Varsity Awards Banquet in the gym at 9:00 am.  That evening we’ll celebrate our Senior Scholarship / Baccalaureate Ceremony at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord at 7:00 pm. On Friday, June 9th Seniors will visit their elementary schools for breakfast at 8:00 am. We will watch the senior video and have graduation practice following that event in the gym. All financial obligations are due no later than that morning. That evening we will celebrate the Class of 2023 for our Graduation ceremony at 7:00 pm at SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH. Final Summative Assessments run June 12th – 15th for our underclassmen. (June 15th is the last day of school for all students).

We sincerely appreciate your support and contributions throughout this year.  This is an amazing school community, and I’ve cherished my time as principal of Londonderry High School. As I transition to the district office this summer, I know that Lancer Nation will continue to thrive in the years ahead thanks to a fantastic student-body, staff, and administration, along with the wonderful families in our community.  Please enjoy a happy and safe summer vacation!

Sincerely,
